Vermicompost Making Training

* During the Vermicompost making training programme, the 

participants were provided with the hands on training of 

scientific vermicompost production along with the exposure 

to the various operations of the vermi-compost production

process.

* Organic waste gets decomposed by micro-organisms and when consumed 

by earth worms.This castings by worms is popularly known as vermicompost.

* Vermicompost can be prepared easily.The essentials are space,cowdung,

organic wastes,and epigeic phytophagous earthworms.

* Vermicompost is good organic manure as it improves soil quality.
